Our Welsh Chapel Dream continues and a UK tour, too
Thanks to everyone who’s watched Our Welsh Chapel Dream. It’s great to share the hope, joy, and - yes, sometimes - frustration of taking on such a huge restoration project.
“We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has taken time to wish us well on our renovation journey. We’ve even had countless offers of help from random strangers,” Marj says, “This has really warmed our hearts and reminded us why we have faith in human beings, so thank you.”
Episode 2 airs on Channel 4 on Sunday at 8pm, and sees us open the doors to share our plans with local people, and head to the Eisteddfod. Let us know what you think of the project so far.
We’ve been dusting off the costumes, polishing the jokes, and generally getting ready for the next tour dates as Life, Clay and Everything is back on the road in June. It’s based on the autobiography Boy In A China Shop, and was a sell out last year. We’re really pleased to be starting the June leg of the tour in Stoke-on-Trent. And finally - it was great to see some of the ceramic work by students at Cowra High School when we were at Clay Gulgong. Ruby Smith received a Highly Commended from Keith for her work ‘The Ocean Floor’ and Annabel Smart and Grace Field both received Finalist certificates. Well done!
